OMEGA-3 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
Omega-3, the fatty acid found in algae and fish, already known to help decrease blood pressure, can also aid the battle against depression, according to a new study from Aston University.
The scientific report revealed that omega-3 has a positive effect on five different areas of heart health, including blood pressure and chronic heart disease.
On top of these physical health benefits, the research also revealed how some individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression or premenstrual syndrome would benefit from the use of omega-3 supplements.
