My son has started nursery, and he hates it. It’s a big change for him. For the first two years of his life, he was at home with me. I’d never planned to be a stay-at-home mum but being self-employed meant I could keep him with me while running a business. Other than a good dose of mum guilt for answering emails with one hand while pushing a swing with the other, we muddled along pretty well.
