WORKOUT
Essential runners’ strong core workout
Your core controls your entire body when you run and by strengthening it, you generate more power and stability, which will lead to stronger, more efficient running style
Workout created by: Anne-Marie Lategan
You just want to lace up and leave the house, right? We hear you, believe us, we do. But the truth is, you need to roll out your mat and get down to some strength work to avoid niggles and injuries, and to better power your running. Your core is, of course, your abs, but it’s also your back, and the key to great all-round strength is to work on both. A strong core is the power behind your running, so you owe it to yourself to get those planks in.
