PC trainer Greta Powell shows you how to balance indexes and juggle portfolios as you learn the tricks of Abode Acrobat
Once you lift the hood on Adobe Acrobat it becomes full of concealed tricks, tools and features which when used can make any online document more user friendly and easier to navigate. One under-used function is the index, which when used with the advanced search tool makes handling long documents a breeze. There is also a rather nice feature called a portfolio, where different documents of most formats can be collated and stored in one place.
Q I am about to re-edit a large amount of documents in pdf, working with both Word and Acrobat. It would be really useful if somehow I could extract all the images out of the documents whilst retaining the quality in order to reuse separately. Any idea as to how this could be done please?
