Over the years I’ve filled many notebooks with snippets of stories, but being an author seemed a fantasy job, and finishing a book, an unobtainable feat.
After having children, my career in film and TV production became a struggle. I needed a new job, close to home, and in a field which satisfied my creativity. During those endless hours with tiny children, scrawling in my notebooks got me though. It was now or never to find out if I had a book in me.
