Patrick Forsyth finds one promotional activity is still working well in the crisis
Patrick Forsyth
As difficult times continue every writer needs all the help they can get to promote their writing work. Some things are ruled out; there have been precious few signing sessions in bookshops of late and writers like myself who are used to speaking at meetings as a form of promotion sadly find such meetings are just not happening. One thing I found recently, in promoting my own new novel, A Rather Curious Crime, (will you permit another plug Mr Editor?) is that something operating normally is radio. It may seem normal when you tune in, however many a presenter is putting out their programmes from home and any interviews they do are likely on the telephone rather than with guests in the studio.
