Sacks celebrated
Jonathan Sacks, the former Chief Rabbi who died in November last year, has been posthumously awarded the 2020 Book of The Year by the American National Jewish Book Awards for his nonfiction work Morality: Restoring the Common Good in Divided Times. The JJ Greenberg Memorial Award, given for fiction, went to Apeirogon: A Novel by Colum McCann, while the Goldberg Prize for debut fiction was won by Florence Adler Swims Forever: A Novel by Rachel Beanland. There will be a virtual celebration and award ceremony on 12 April.
