It’s a four-legged fete that begins with “American Road’s Cats & Dogs”—a roadside guide to ten attractions inspired by a pup or puss. Or that Felix Chevrolet of Los Angeles has been selling cars since 1921 because its founder had the good sense to make a mascot of a now-famous cartoon kitty? Righty-o! No television personality has gained greater fame teaching people how to train tail waggers than “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Milan. He shares his pointers for vacationing with pooches in “Cesar Milan: Traveling with the Pack.” Afterward, we announce the winners of our “Pet Places” Photo Contest. Then it’s onward to chase down the Garfield Trail in Indiana; the Dog Chapel in Vermont, the six-toed cats of the Hemingway Home in Florida, and that bronze sculpture of Fala the Scottish terrier at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, D.C.
