M T44 LONG JUMP
MARKUS REHM will not be able to fulfil his dream of competing in both the Paralympics and Olympics but he is still en route to dominate the former.
In London he long jumped to a meeting record of 7.96m in the T44 event, beating all his rivals with ease despite not being in his usual eight-metre-plus form.

Markus Rehm: easy win
Elsewhere, there was a meeting record of 14.31 in the T53 100m by Loughboroughbased Canadian Brent Lakatos, while Marlou van Rhijn took the T44 100m in 12.84, just outside her own world record.
