Bead & Jewellery Magazine  |  Issue 109
First up is our front cover piece from a lady that I have had the pleasure to get to know over the last few months, and she’s an absolute delight, Anja Schlotman. Anja’s pieces always look like they belong on the red carpet and her ‘Time For Change’ necklace is no exception. Amanda Connell is next up with her Aztec inspired set that is giving us all the travel vibes. Becs Dean Skinner’s ‘Emma’ earrings are excellent for adding that touch of glamour to any outfit, and Debora Hodoyer is taking us back to basics with her seed bead and fire polished Right Angle Weave bracelet. Sue Neel has used netting in her bracelet to give the impression of chains all joined together, and the effect is fabulous. It’s also made out of all seed beads. What’s not to love?
Moving away from the bead weaving, we start with Tracey Spurgin’s beautiful PMC and resin earrings. Resin is still a massive trend for summer, and Tracey has absolutely nailed it. Alison Tarry’s stunning ‘Marquise’ ring is a project to get your teeth into as the piece is very intricate and perfect for those looking for a challenge. Last but not least, we have a fun and colourful piece of bead embroidery from Debbie Kershaw. This piece is excellent for popping on with any outfit to take it from fine to fabulous.
