Bead & Jewellery Magazine  |  Issue 129
As always, we’ll start with our cover piece, and I think you’ll agree with me when I say this necklace from Edgar Lopez is a stunning cover. It is quintessentially Edgar, with all the glamour that his pieces bring. Another fabulous necklace that we can’t wait to add to our collection is the beautiful collar from Emma Kneale. It is fairly quick to make but really packs a punch with how intricate it looks. Beas Dean-Skinner is back with us, and her little flower-inspired bracelet has us longing for spring. New to Bead & Jewellery is Katsue Huang, with a delightful Peyote bracelet and crystal flower toggle clasp. If component jewellery is your thing, look no further than Anke Gauch’s statement necklace. Once you’ve completed the necklace, why not make matching pieces? To end our bead weaving category is our previous cover star, Karina Miguel. Karina’s stunning bracelet will be something you’ll turn to day in and day out.
Moving on to other mediums, we start with Alison Tarry’s fabulous wire ants. The animal kingdom is a massive trend for Spring/Summer 2024, and Alison is way ahead of the curve. Another new face for this issue is the lovely Christina Patratanu. Soutache is still very popular in the bead world, and can see why with earrings like the ones Christina has made for us. Last but not least is PMC extraordinaire Tracey Spurgin, and for this issue, she shows two methods of adding gemstones to your clay.
