Bead & Jewellery Magazine  |  Issue 112
As usual, we will start with our cover piece and what a beautiful piece it is. This stunning necklace is by Cliff Swain-Salomon, and it has a vintage, with a touch of opulence to it and yet, it is still really wearable. Overall it’s an excellent project to make. Erzsébet Nagygyörgy is next up with her dragon scale bracelet. This is the piece you’re looking for if you love geometric beadwork. Hannah Walker is back with us, and we’re so happy to have her back. She’s made a wonderful pearl bracelet fit for royalty. I’ve included a star-inspired pattern in this issue, and after making a massive mistake when it came to my pattern, I was super happy with the finished result. Check it out to see what my mistake was. Joining us for this issue is Csilla Csirmaz (Shila), with a delightful herringbone bracelet. Shila uses multiple size beads to make a stunning piece that would rival the fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
Moving away from bead weaving, we start with Tracey Spurgin’s ‘Foxy Loxy’ pendant. When I saw this fabulous little piece, I knew we all needed it in our lives. It’s cute, it’s sweet, and it’s perfect for anyone that hasn’t had a chance to have a go at precious metal clay. Rebecca Handy is going all out in the glamour stakes with her stunning crystal pendant, and Alison Tarry is helping us get over our ‘Winter Blues’ with her wirework version.
