Dollhouse Miniatures  |  Issue 84
As usual, we have some really stunning and creative pieces in this issue of Dollhouse Miniatures! There is sure to be something to inspire you.
If you are an artist, you have surely been struck with an artist block at some point. This is when your inspiration tank is empty. Causes can be self-doubt, fear of judgement, exhaustion, or even working with a lower skill level. All of this is completely normal. We are not robots. We create from the deepest part of ourselves.
To snap out of it, the most important thing is to not put pressure on yourself. Try some meditation to figure out where the block is coming from. Some other tricks are to rearrange your creative space, spend time with people you love and trust, walk somewhere beautiful, or do other creative activities. Sometimes a beautifully made movie will give me a kick start. Also flipping through the pages of DHM or AM is a great way to get a creative rush. Be sure not to aim too high if you are just starting to create minis. Start with a few simple things and be proud of work. Then slowly push your skill level. Practice makes perfect, so keep going!
