Instantly add bullet points to indicate paragraphs
You can instantly add bullet points to the start of multiple paragraphs, making it easier to jump to specific points in a long document. You simply need to highlight every paragraph, then press Ctrl+Shift+L.
Word uses line breaks in a document to determine where one paragraph ends and another begins. That means if you’re using double line breaks, Word will place a bullet point where the first line break is (see screenshot 1 ), which clutters the page.
