Pin your tabs in Notepad alternative
If you find Notepad in Windows too basic for your needs, replace it with Notepad++, which has more advanced tools and features. The latest version (8.7.2) lets you pin your tabs at the far left of the top bar, making them easy to open with one click.
First, download Notepad++ by clicking the green button at www.snipca. com/53206 (avoid fake ‘download’ buttons which are just adverts). Now click the pin icon in a tab and it’ll turn blue, indicating it’s been pinned ( 12 in our screenshot below). Unpinned tabs will always be to the right of these .
