Seattle goes gunk.
Touting their ‘gunk-pop’ grunge-punk hybrid, and hailed by US press as Seattle’s new flagship band, idiosyncratic trio Black Ends trumpet their allegiance to Nirvana, recording their startling debut album at Bleach engineer Jack Endino’s studo, with guest cellist Lori Goldston (of Nirvana’s Unplugged renown) and Cobain’s Twin Reverb combo perched on singer-guitarist Nicolle Swims’ amp.
