If you go down to the woods
After reading the ‘A walk in the woods’ project in Photo Active, issue 300 (November), and the included Arboretum tip card, I was inspired to get out and practise with my camera during my favourite month. I love the autumn colours and the stunning display at Thorp Perrow Arboretum at Bedale, North Yorkshire, certainly didn’t disappoint. I tried the project’s tips for macro, looking up, looking for leading paths and crouching down for some of my shots. I had an enjoyable afternoon practising with my Fujifilm X-T5 camera and Samsung S25 Ultra on a few different settings.
