There was little Geoff Keighley could do about the glut of science-fiction horror games at Summer Games Fest, but he might have spread them across the running order a bit. Between The Gory One (The Callisto Protocol) and The One That’s Been In Development For A Decade (Routine), we got The One Where Troy Baker And Roger Clark Have A Fight. Clark stars as Jack Leary, a maintenance engineer at a Martian mining post, while Baker is medical officer Wyatt Taylor and Julia Brown (not present) completes this taut three-hander. Despite the gloomy lighting, Baker suggests it’s more thriller than horror. An intriguing minute of footage gave little away, but Baker says the game’s main verbs are “exploring, discovering and traversing”. And, apparently, brawling: the two face off in a scene that required a stunt coordinator.
