The Tang dynasty, considered a golden age of reform and cultural advancement in China lasting from 618-907, is the focus of Eskenazi’s exhibition in Clifford Street.
Running from October 21 to November 6, the show contains objects in metal, stone, ceramic and silk, including a monumental dry lacquer head of a bodhisattva (one of only three known examples) and this sancai-glazed zodiac animal figure with a human body and a horse’s head.
