An ensemble of furnishings by the French designer/decorator Eugène Printz (1879- 1948) that were created in the 1930s for a villa in Casablanca, Morocco, will feature at Briscadieu Bordeaux in the French city on November 6.
They include several carpets; a side cabinet in violetwood veneer and this 2ft 11in (90cm) patinated brass framed circular mirror from c.1935. The mirror, which retains the original glass, can be seen in an archive photo of the interior of the villa alongside one of the carpets mentioned above. The estimate is €8000-12,000.
