Fitness guru Alice Liveing comes clean on her approach to getting healthy in the New Year

Life has gone slowly for most of us over the last year, but for personal trainer Alice Liveing it’s been nonstop. Not only did she appear on the cover of Women’s Health magazine, the 28-year-old fitness influencer also launched her new exercise and nutrition app, Give Me Strength, and saw her number of Instagram followers rise above 700,000.
It’s all a sign of how much she has touched people with her message of balance –a far cry from when she hit the gym every day and had strict rules on what she could eat as “Clean Eating Alice”. Instead, she now tells fans: “Do things that make you feel good, without obsessing over them.”
Here, as many of us revamp our fitness goals with the start of the new year, Alice explains more about her new attitude towards health, shares her top fitness tips and explains why you’re more than a dress size.
Alice, what prompted you to move away from your “clean eating” rhetoric?
