THE FORMER president of Brighton & Hove AC, Mike Langmaid, has died aged 81.
Langmaid, also a discus coach and prominent official in Sussex, held multiple roles throughout the years with club and county, and was heavily involved with the organisation of the European Veterans Championships back in 1984 in Brighton.
He was also a director of the South of England Athletics Association and the organisation’s treasurer for nine years.
