Ihad the pleasure of meeting Kym Mazelle for the first time this summer. With Robert Howard she was responsible for one of my favourite singles of the late 80s, Wait!. But the record on my mind when we met wasn’t one of hers, it was Hello by The Beloved. Not only because she gets a namecheck but because it’s one of the most epic – but by no means only – list song in the classic pop canon.
