Despite an impressive career spanning almost 40 years, a-ha are still viewed as one-hit wonders in some countries, a myth that writer and director Thomas Robsahm is keen to dispel in this frank and engaging new documentary. For long-standing fans, a-ha’s story will be familiar, but casual observers will be compelled by how success came at both an emotional and physical cost to the band’s members, particularly Morten Harket, who still struggles with being their main focal point.
