Increased training means your body requires more energy and nutrients to be able to support the demands being made of it. If you deny your body what it needs you may be at risk of falling into a binge/restrict cycle, where you’re more likely to crave the things you are denying yourself. At some point you’re likely to be unable to maintain the restriction and cave in to your strong cravings and go all out. So you’re much better off eating as and when you feel you need certain foods – within reason of course and as part of a healthy balanced diet.
