A very flash prize

Bath Flash Fiction Award is inviting entries for its Novella-in- Flash Award.

There is a first prize of £300 and two runner-up prizes of £100. The winners will be published in a three-novella collection.

Novellas in flash should be between 6,000 and 18,000 words, with the individual flashes (chapters) each being no longer than 1,000 words. Entries must be aimed at adult or young adult readers. All work must be original and unpublished as a novella (individual pieces may have been published but authors must hold all rights). Type documents in plan legible font in 1.5 spacing on numbered pages with the title of the work on each page. The author’s name must not appear on the manuscript. Entries are accepted as odt, doc, docx, txt and pdf files, The filename must be the title of the piece with any punctuation removed.
