Writing Magazine presents a selection of collecting magazines currently accepting contributions. We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with their guidelines before submitting and check websites, where given, for submission details.

Collectors Gazette, edited by Cathy Herron, is a collectors’ magazine specialising in vintage, traditional and nostalgic toys. These include trains, diecast models, games, toy soldiers, teddy bears and TV and film memorabilia. Aimed at readers who are knowledgeable and well-informed about their areas of interest, the feature content is informative and accessible as well as entertaining, and includes wellresearched, in-depth coverage and overviews of particular toys and objects, manufacturers and collecting trends. Feature articles are around 1,000 words and Cathy is happy to hear from prospective writers with in-depth knowledge of their subject. Payment varies.
