UNBEATEN leaders WEST BOWLING had the better of the closing quarter to seal a 34-14 win at EGREMONT RANGERS.
The Cumbrians were 10-6 ahead as half-time approached, through a Sam Appleby touchdown and a try and a goal by Kris Tyson.
But Wests levelled by the break, through Charlie Barrett, and went twelve points clear with touchdowns for Jack Milburn and Ben Heald.
Egremont’s Thomas Carruthers pegged the Bradford outfit back to 22-14 as the hour beckoned, but the visitors cruised home with tries by Oliver Bartle and – adding to his opener – Daniel Gregory, with Harry Williams landing the last two of his five goals.
