DONS SURVIVE LATE OLDHAM COMEBACK
DONCASTER 26 OLDHAM 22
DAN FOWLER
Eco-Power Stadium, SundayIN A BATTLE between two of League One’s high-flyers, it was Doncaster who came out on top against Oldham on a brisk Sunday
afternoon in South Yorkshire.
On a momentous, and try-scoring, day for Dons backrower Brett Ferres, who was making his 400th career appearance, it was fellow veteran Jason Tali and young gun Elliot Hall causing the most damage to the visitors’ defence.
Victory for Doncaster certainly wasn’t clear-cut as Stuart Littler’s Roughyeds made a late comeback but couldn’t quite complete their heroics.
