Sign up for an account with NextDNS (https:// nextdns.io) and you can add extras such as ad-and tracker blockers to Firefox at the DNS level. If you do this, when setting up DNS over HTTPs, choose Custom under ‘Use Provider’ to input the NextDNS URL associated with your account.
