Linux on new ARMbased M1 MacBooks?
Apple M1 ARM-based SoC could boot custom kernels.
Apple has recently unveiled yet another round of refreshes for its MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13-inch and Mac Mini lineup, but unlike the refreshes launched in early 2020 that offered marginal spec increases, these new devices are pretty interesting. That’s because they’re no longer powered by Intel, but instead by Apple’s own ARM-based System on Chip (SoC), the M1.
