"I moved house earlier this year. Like many others, the pandemic changed life for me and my wife, and in some ways for the better. I had traditionally thought of myself as a “city cat”, and for the better part of several decades I lived right in the middle of Cambridge, Massachusetts. But in the past few years, I’ve realised that I don’t need to be in the middle of town any more, and that further out means the usual trade-offs enabling more space, including for geekery.
