watchOS 11 makes it even easier to track and achieve your fitness goals
Activity rings
Activity rings are among our favourite Apple Watch features, urging us to get up from our Macs and do something more energetic instead.
But from time to time you might need to take a break from your daily goals. If you don’t want to jeopardise your Activity streak but need to take some time out, you can now pause your rings for a day, a week, a month or more. That means you won’t lose your progress if you’re unwell, injured, in recovery from an operation or just having a relaxed holiday. And in another nice touch you can now adjust your Activity goals for different days of the week, so you can plan a lazy Sunday or a manic Monday.
You can now pause your Activity rings without losing your Activity streaks.
Apple is very much focused on making the Apple Watch a class-leading health and fitness device, and there are a host of improvements to those features in watchOS 11.
