John-Anthony Disotto…
WITH NOT MUCH TO SHOW BETWEEN NEW RELEASES THESE DAYS, IS IT TIME FOR APPLE TO CONSIDER AN IRREGULAR iPHONE UPGRADE CYCLE?
The minute I unboxed my shiny new iPhone 16
Pro Max and held it in my hand for the first time, I knew I shouldn’t have upgraded.
You see, it’s a fantastic phone, it does everything you’d want of a smartphone and has Apple Intelligence baked in (at a future date!). But I had just upgraded from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and quite honestly, apart from a completely useless camera button on the side of my device that I’ve not used once since launch, it not only looked like my old iPhone but performed like it too. That’s not necessarily a dig at Apple, however, it’s just that smartphones have come so far that it’s increasingly difficult to truly innovate.
