Why are Apple silicon updates larger than Intel?
> While their Signed System Volumes are identical, macOS also loads secure disk images containing Safari and huge dyld caches. Intel Macs only get those caches for Intel processors, but to support Rosetta 2 on Apple silicon Macs, its caches include those for both architectures, in around 1GB extra download.
Can Sequoia’s Tips app open other app Help books?
> The Tips app was new to Ventura, but has just been moved into the main Applications folder. It doubles as a browser for Help books for all Apple’s apps, and as the Help Viewer for third-party apps. It will only browse those other Help books when opened by that app’s Help menu.
Add a second backup destination to Time Machine’s settings and backups will rotate between those disks as available.
