iPadOS 26 marked one of the biggest upgrades for the iPad since the Apple tablet first launched in 2010. It introduced the gorgeous Liquid Glass design found across Apple’s product line, but it was the shake-up of window management that had everyone talking.
Four months on, after a chat with my elderly parents, it hit me that Apple hasn’t done a great job explaining how to get the most from these new Mac-like tools. With iPads being a popular gift, lots of new users are diving into an operating system that’s far more flexible than Apple is letting on.
