System Settings
Changes are easier to navigate and more accessible
S ystem Settings replace System Preferences in a layout that’s closer to those in iOS and iPadOS. However comfortable you might be with those on your devices, you’ll need to take some time to learn where they’ve all gone in Ventura.
1 Find direct links
Go straight to nested settings by searching for them by name. You’ll be offered links to save you from having to navigate the new hierarchy of System Settings. Search for ‘Stage Manager’ and one of the hits takes you direct to its settings.
2 Alphabetical list
There’s a long, alphabetical list of the most commonly used settings in the View menu, which doesn’t repeat top level items. If you can’t find Date & Time, look here first.
