IN A SEA of smart speakers, Audio Pro’s C5 MkII leans very much on the “speaker” side of things. Although it has some software control it does not feature a microphone or any kind of digital assistant, so it’s really nothing like a HomePod, for example. Compact but very well built, the C5 MkII is designed to be somewhat portable with its leather carrying handle, though it needs to run off wall power so is really meant only for indoor use. Around the back you’ll find a bass port as well as RCA inputs and a subwoofer output should you wish to connect a turntable or some bass extension, respectively.
