RAPIDO’S THUNDERBOLT EDGES CLOSER

On display at the recent Kernow Model Rail Centre open day (see page 11) was a selection of painted samples of Rapido’s Liverpool & Manchester 0 ‐ 4‐2 Lion, plus its big screen alter ego, Thunderbolt. The L&M versions of Lion feature several detail differences to suit their liveries, which depict how the preserved locomotive appeared in the 1930s and 1980s eras.
