TURNTABLE TALES
I am sure many of your readers have the humble Hornby R070 motorised turntable on their layouts, and with tracks already laid and wiring complete, it may be deemed by many to be too much effort to replace it with a more realistic one.
By chance, I discovered that the Peco Plate Girder bridge sides (Ref. LK-10) fit exactly on either side of the Hornby turntable deck – they fit snugly without any need to trim or even glue them in place.
