SISAL AND TISSUE
As modellers, we’re always trying to reproduce real life effects in miniature. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Having completed a small rake of wagons built from Connoisseur ‘O’ gauge kits, I wanted to add some finishing touches.
Firstly, a few words on the wagon kits themselves: well, they really are superb. It is the first time I have come across wagon kits that have three – yes three – layers of brass in the sides.
