As Iwrite this, I’m in that ‘no man’s land’ between Christmas and New Year. I always find it a strange time, with festivities over (I don’t usually celebrate new year) and a gap before returning to work. To be honest, since the first Covid lockdown I’ve done most of my Model Rail work at home, anyway. This year, I decided to use the post-Christmas gap to catch up on some projects that I had been planning for a while. Events then overtook me. Dapol Class 59s in ‘OO’ became available and as a Class 59 fan I just had to have one.
