RAPIDO GOES FOR AN ‘E’
Rapido Trains UK is working on a ‘OO’ rendition of the Metropolitan Railway 0‐4‐4T ‘Met 1’, to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the commencement of services on London’s famous network. No. 1 will be offered in preservation era and London Transport liveries, with all models being fully licensed from Transport for London. Although No. 1 was something of a one-off, classmate No. L48 has been deemed close enough in detail for Rapido to offer versions of that locomotive too.
