‘LARGE PRAIRIE’ NEXT FROM SONIC
Following the success of its LNER ‘J50’ and GWR ‘56XX’, Sonic Models’ next RTR ‘N’ gauge model will portray the GWR ‘51XX/61XX’ 2‐6‐2T. Known as ‘Large Prairies’, they were employed by the Great Western and British Railways on suburban and branch line passenger traffic, as well as the odd local freight service.
