George Dent presents four new books that will be useful for modellers.
The second volume of this series concentrates on the contemporary rail scene of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. While the ECML dominates, the various linking routes aren’t forgotten, including the GNR ‘Joint’ line. There’s also a study of traffic on the lines to Lincoln from Nottingham and Sheffield, as well as interesting views around Boston Docks, South Humberside and the unsung Brigg and Market Rasen lines. Passenger and freight traffic features, along with a variety of traction, and the text provides lots of information.
