AFTER AN intense bout of primal screaming on Anton, her grim portrayal of a coercive relationship, Iona Zajac feels a moment of relief. “It’s all pouring off my back,” she sings. “I’m standing up, I’m running through the trees.” However, the watchful Glasgow singer-songwriter’s debut album suggests that, given the dangers out there, women would do well to give the deep, dark woods a miss.
