THE REFURBISHED church hall at Kilmonivaig Parish Church, a project partially funded by Highland LEADER funding, has been scheduled for Sunday March 4 at 2pm.
The £55,000 project included new insulation, replacement windows and fire door, extended and refitted kitchen and new toilets, lighting, central heating and storage space. It is hoped the building will be used for a range of community and church uses and will also be a benefit when events take place at the nearby Commando Memorial.
The community council already uses the building for its meetings but it is hoped the official opening will help publicise the possibilities the building offers and acknowledge the support received.
