At long last, summer is finally here, the flowers are in bloom, there are
butterflies in full flight and the sun has definitely got his hat on!
Inside this month’s issue of Parchment Craft, you’ll find two very nice gift sets by popular designers Gail Sydenham and Amanda Dray. Styled entirely for a summers wedding, Gail’s suite (Page 16) consists of a card,
a gift tag and an accompanying gift box, all of which have been worked on lemon parchment.
Amanda’s set (Page 10) includes a frilled bag, a doily and a bottle sleeve. Each piece features an abundance of frills and there’s certainly enough there to keep you occupied for many hours.
On the cover and also on Page 6 is Mary Kerr’s Black and White Contemporary Card. Designed to be given at any occasion, the pattern is based upon a rosette design, which has been repeated and backed onto a sheet of black vellum and then topped off with micro beads.
