D-Link’s DBR routers target small businesses with up to 100 users that want a simple security appliance with VPN routing, WAN redundancy and wireless access point (AP) management. The range comprises two models, with the DBR-600-P and DBR-700 both delivering 2.5GbE multi-gigabit ports across the board.
There are distinct differences between them. The DBR-600-P has nine copper 2.5GbE ports, provides 802.3at PoE+ services and its USB port supports a 4G/5G modem. The DBR-700 we reviewed doesn’t have the USB port or PoE services but its ninth port is the 2.5GbE SFP fibre variety, which supports longer connection distances.
