From fishsteaks to algal oil… how plant based diets help protect the marine ecosystem

I had always loved fish, not only eating them but swimming with them whilst scuba diving.
Before I became a vegan, I gave up fish. I remember swarms of them surrounding me and when I reached out and one of them started sucking on my little finger like a baby, that was it, I was converted to a fish free life.
I never previously connected the fascinating fish swimming around me with the one on my plate; just as I never understood the marine eco-devastation I was contributing to, until I was educated about it.
